About Us

Autonomy Recovery Home is a structured recovery home for women age 18 and older who are committed to long-term recovery from substance use.

We offer a warm, upscale, and supportive living environment designed to help residents stabilize, rebuild self-trust, and transition back into society with clarity and purpose.

The home is intentionally centered around wellness and healing, with restorative amenities and experiences that support the whole person—not just sobriety, but nervous system regulation, self-connection, and emotional recovery as well.

Located in scenic Northern California, our setting reflects the beauty and restorative energy of the region. With Nevada City, the Yuba River, and the natural landscape nearby, residents have access to a peaceful environment that supports reflection, routine, and growth.

From the wooded outdoor deck to the warm shared living spaces and wellness practices, the home is designed to feel grounded, restorative, and deeply supportive offering daily structure, and a culture of accountability while helping each resident connect with outside recovery resources after intake.

Our Founder

A sanctuary born from the wisdom of lived experience—grounded in empathy and the gentle strength of a journey shared.

Autonomy Recovery Home was founded by a woman who is actively in recovery herself and understands firsthand the need for a safe, comfortable, and truly supportive place to heal.

After completing a six-month rehab program, she recognized how important it is to have a stable and intentional environment during the transition back into society.

This home was created to offer the kind of setting many women need but struggle to find: one that is warm, beautiful, accountable, and rooted in genuine understanding of the recovery journey.
